Remodeling Progress

Well, we are making progress. We have gotten all the wood on the wall. After a lot of caulking we have also started to prime everything. Unfortunately, the Mister has to work during the day and on some weekends so more progress may be slow going. But I love it, already it looks much better than before. I cannot wait to see it complete. I am having a little trouble deciding on a color to go above the woodwork. But that is another post.

  3. I do love yours too! I have so many compliments on mine from people who have seen it. They can't believe that it's just boards on the wall. We choose to do a 4 in shelf on top of ours. Now I wish I had a long hallway upstairs too :) The nice thing is that you can go darker with your upper color now because the white brightens up your space so much. GREAT JOB!

  7. Saw the name of your post over at Kimba's, and knew I would enjoy it.

Love it! I would love to do this in my bathroom or kitchen, but am scared since I would probably be doing this all by myself.

  8. Hello! I'm a new follower to your blog. Love what you've done with your wall so far! Can't wait to see what color you go with. That can be difficult since there's so many wonderful colors out there to choose from!

  9. I love finding these projects and all of us falling for the same look at the same time -and the subsequent hand holding/tutorials to go with it!! I have a long front hallway/entry too and I plan to do this and if i love it (which I no doubt will) I want to run it into the family room and kitchen area. We have a weird school schedule and my big girls start July 27th. Then it is just me and my 1 year old. My sweet husband is not the handy one...it is me. So, I plan to work on it when the kids start back to school. I cannot wait!
